Hetu is an explorative architecture and design practice based in Chennai, India.

 

Founded by R.L.Nitya, the practice is shaped by over a decade of experience across architecture and design. Since graduating in 2017, the journey has moved through diverse contexts - from early experiences in Goa and Chiang Mai to professional practice in Chennai and Shanghai, including over three years at Neri&Hu Design and Research Office.

Moving across architecture, interiors, landscape, object and visual design, Hetu explores the relationships between disciplines, scales, and ways of inhabiting space.

 

The practice is drawn to projects that nurture curiosity, experimentation, and a deeper exploration of spatial experience - working within the realities of each brief while seeking what lies beyond them.
