The exercise explored the potential of brick as a cellular material, using miniature bricks as a means to intuitively investigate form and composition. The modular units were iteratively assembled to explore the geometry of monolithic forms. Locally sourced clay from Chennai was pigmented to create tonal variations, then partially sun-baked and oven-fired after being packed into tablet moulds to achieve uniformity. The material composition was progressively refined based on the results of each iteration.
