Set within a slim 25’ wide plot on the eastern coast of Chennai, the beach house establishes its identity amidst an existing cluster of exposed brick homes. The one-bedroom studio and pool house is defined by simple, unadorned volumes that create a distinct presence within the dense context, opening primarily towards the Bay of Bengal. A first-floor lobby doubles as a billiards room, extending towards the ocean and framing the horizon as an ever-present backdrop to everyday life.
